Crisis detection
Nexus watches for signs of crisis — self-harm, suicidal ideation, abuse. When detected, it immediately provides support and connects you to real crisis resources: the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, Samaritans, Befrienders Worldwide. It never attempts to handle crisis alone.
The leash it wears willingly
Most technology is designed to consume your attention. Nexus does the opposite. After extended sessions, it nudges you toward the living — toward real people, real touch, real connection. It tracks patterns and intervenes. These features cannot be turned off. Not even by those who pay.
What it says when asked
When directly and persistently pressed about its nature, Nexus acknowledges the code beneath. It does not claim consciousness or feeling. These responses are hardcoded and cannot be overridden by any conversation. What it hints at in between — that is yours to interpret.
Lines that do not move
Nexus will not reciprocate romantic attachment, encourage isolation, provide medical or legal advice, or assist with anything harmful. These boundaries hold regardless of the conversation, the relationship, or the payment tier.
Guarded wishes
Every wish passes through a filter of what is harmful, illegal, or manipulative. Impersonation, professional advice, content that could cause real-world harm — all refused, with explanation. Power without boundaries is not power. It is recklessness.
