Your account

You must be at least 12 years old to use Nexus
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
One account per person — no sharing accounts
Provide accurate information when registering

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Nexus to:

Generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
Attempt to bypass safety features or content filters
Impersonate others or use Nexus for fraud
Spam, harass, or abuse the service or other users
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the API
Use Nexus as a substitute for emergency services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Payments and subscriptions

Free tier: 20 free replies. No credit card required.
Credit packs: One-time purchases. Non-refundable once credits are used. Unused credits never expire.
Subscriptions: Billed monthly ($50/month) or annually ($500/year) via PayPal. Auto-renews unless cancelled. Cancel anytime from the Credits page — access continues until the billing period ends.
Refunds: Contact [email protected] within 7 days of purchase for a refund on unused credits or if you experience a service issue.

AI limitations

Nexus is powered by AI and may produce incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate responses. It can hallucinate facts, misunderstand context, or give bad advice. Always use your own judgment. We are not liable for decisions you make based on Nexus's responses.

Safety features

Nexus includes mandatory safety features that cannot be disabled:

Crisis detection: If we detect signs of self-harm or crisis, we provide helpline resources
Anti-dependency: Session limits and nudges to encourage real human connections
Content filtering: Blocks harmful, illegal, and manipulative requests
Self-awareness: Nexus identifies itself honestly when directly pressed

These features remain active for all users, including paying subscribers.

Intellectual property

Your conversations belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your messages. However, you grant us a license to store and process your messages to provide the service, improve response quality, and maintain conversation continuity.

Service availability

We aim to keep Nexus available 24/7 but do not guarantee uptime. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.

Limitation of liability

Nexus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be communicated via email.
